He is the Owner of ICG and Lead Combatives Instructor for the TMS Tribe. Professor Benny Glossop has over 25 years of combined martial arts and combatives training and is a former professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter and kickboxer. He holds several ranks in the martial arts including: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 1st Degree Black Belt / 5th Degree Black Belt in American Kickboxing / and 3rd Degree Black Belt in Olympic Taekwondo. Along with those ranks, he has nearly 20 years of combatives training with Dave “Boon” Benton. Benny specializes in Active Shooter Response, In-Fight Weapons Access, Weapons Retention and Combative Grappling.
Benny has taught and trained with members of all branches of the U.S. Military, LEO SWAT & SRT Teams, Security Agents, and the U.S. Marshal’s Service. He is also a veteran firefighter and Emergency Rescue Technician and remains a first responder today as a licensed security professional and personal protection specialist.
Along with instructing for Battleline Tactical, Benny is also the owner of Integrated Combatives Group (ICG) where he teaches and consults in the areas of Active Shooter Response, Weapons Retention, Combative Grappling and Personal Protection. He is also the Head Coach of MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai at UFC GYM and is a certified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Trainer, TRX coach, and CrossFit Kettlebell coach.
Benny is also a well-known television personality and actor. He has over 300 TV hosting credits and had a role in the feature film “The Favorite” (2017) where he played the role of fighter “Tank”.
DMIG founder Israel "Izzy" Matos is retired from the United States Marine Corps, involved in firearms training since 2005. Grievously wounded in Afghanistan during combat operations as an Infantry Assaultman, he was medically retired in 2015.
Since then, Israel has dedicated himself to providing quality training to members of the military and law enforcement, as well as civilians.
He is not only a Marine combat veteran with multiple certifications in weapons and combative tactics, his real-world experiences and technical training are a great asset to the TMS Tribe.
He is also one of the founding fathers and developers of Shootingclasses.com which is the primary system used by D.M.I.G. for classes scheduling and administrative needs.
As a Marine he served with 2nd Battalion 2nd Marines Fox Company Weapons Platoon, Weapons and Field Training Battalion Quantico, 3rd Battalion 4th Marines Weapons Company 81 Millimeter Mortar Platoon. He was deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and the 26th MEU. He was awarded the Purple Heart June 15, 2011 and the Naval Commendation with Combat Distinguishing Device 23rd day of January 2012.

Ian is a part of DMIG and a part of the TMS Tribe . He is a veteran law enforcement officer, who has worked as both a training officer and detective since 2008. A SWAT operator, he’s been assigned to the Sniper Team since 2013. Ian is an FDLE certified Firearms and Defensive Tactics instructor, with specialties as a certified Taser and Sniper instructor.
He is the manager/ CEO of Zulu Echo Papa Consulting, LLC. He has over 21 years of experience in Law Enforcement, and 3 years experience in the Fire and EMS field. He is not only in the TMS Tribe , Zepp is an amazing Instructor, as well as he does product testing, consulting, security , and EP work.
Zepp retired from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and was a member of various units, which include Special Investigations Division, Narcotics Section, Aviation Section, Motors Traffic Division, Community Policing, School Resource, Training and Firearms Range, and Patrol Division.
His knowledge and expertise include investigating violent crimes, managing and conducting undercover operations and tactics, community policing issues, school security and safety; as well as working with other federal law enforcement agencies, such as DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), MBI (Metropolitan Bureau of Investigations), FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigations), and the Secret Service.
Zepp has undergone extensive hours of training throughout his career in areas such as firearms tactics and handling, undercover operations and tactics, vehicle takedowns, electronic and physical surveillance, counter surveillance, anti-terrorism, entry techniques and CQB, report writing and investigation, interview techniques, dignitary protection, response to WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction), aviation surveillance, Port security, Radar and Laser speed measurement, computer technology, narcotic investigations, criminal biker and street gangs; along with stress awareness and resolution.
He has worked as an armed security officer for a few security companies doing both static and mobile details for asset management and executive protection.
Zepp worked as a sales manager for a local gun shop / firearms manufacturer, where he oversaw day to day operations, conducted online, law enforcement, and commercial sales. He is also a gunsmith / armorer. He has assisted with product testing and evaluation, along with development and design.
Zepp is a firearms instructor and range safety officer for tactical pistol, carbine, shotgun, and CCW classes. He holds licenses in the State of Florida for both armed and unarmed security (“D “& “G“), the State of Montana security license, and a concealed firearms license; also fall under the Federal H.R. 218 Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA).
His instruction includes but is not limited to firearms and tactics, surveillance, interview, and investigations techniques, building entry and clearing (CQB) skills.
